This morning I was led into Ezekiel because I had a question for the Lord.
We’ve been learning about this book on Sundays, but I haven’t read this book all the way through like a book yet.
This morning it was like I completely absorbed chapters 2-16.
I asked God a question and He led me to the answer in His Word, gave me understanding. ❤️
It amazes me how God has given us “example” after “example” after “example”…. “layer” upon “layer” upon “layer” of illustrations…. everywhere.
All within His creation, all within His Word, all within the people around us… and then when we ask to receive eyes to see, ears to hear, a heart that is willing to absorb His Word and truth and light…. it begins to come together. We can see it, we can understand His message, we can understand the “example” He has illustrated for us.
Sometimes my mind can’t come close to wrapping around the things that start to “click” and connect, but there is something within me that starts to understand in a deeper place.
The Lord is constantly showing us, by “example”….
His patience, His truth, His faithfulness, His goodness, His warnings, His love…
It’s all right there if we just look for it, if we just ask Him to help us, to wake us up to be able to see and hear and understand what He’s showing us.
But then there’s the part about being obedient with what He shows us…
Oh Lord, give me the eyes to see, the ears to hear, and a heart that will absorb Your Word, Your warnings, and Your message. Help me to have a willing and obedient heart that is fully submitted to You. Help me to always remember who You are, who I am in You, and who I would be without You. ??☀️??
