4.1.16 – I don’t get jokes.

Happy 1st of April! It’s April Fools Day, by the way.

Speaking of April Fools…. I never seem to get jokes. It always takes me a minute to figure them out or to be able to tell if a person is joking or not. Anybody else the same way?

It’s been a busy week – the first half seemed completely overwhelming and out of control, but the second half has been wonderful because I’ve had some time at home, in my office, in the quiet, to knock some important to-dos off my list. Gosh, I love crossing things off my list. I love days when things seem to just be on a roll, when things just seem to happen.

There are definitely days when I have so many things on my mind that I have to just stop, get them out, put them on my list. I use Wunderlist, by the way, I have a to-do list for “today”, for “this afternoon”, for “this evening”, for “tomorrow”, for “this week”, for “next week”, and then “long term”… (I also have a list for Jason 🙂 and then I organize everything into those lists so that I’m only seeing a couple of things at a time. Keeps me from losing my mind (well most of the time ha!) and it also allows me to empty my thoughts and into the list, so that I can free my mind and focus on what I need to do in the moment. At least that’s my goal with the whole thing. Sometimes my mind just wants to stay in planning mode, thinking of everything going on in the

next month that I need to do. I do better if I take it one day at a time.

Hope you all have a wonderful Friday, and I hope that no one will be the victim of any bad jokes today 🙂
