Well, we are back home from NYC now, and I am writing from my favorite sitting spot this morning –my most favorite dining room table. ☺️☀️?
We get a day to be home and then we’re heading out again, this time for a big shoot up in the mountains for a week or so + photos of an elopement while we’re there. We get to stay in a really nice and quiet cabin while we’re there on location for the week, so that will be very nice. Thankful for that.
To be honest I’ve been trying to process this whirlwind of a week. I’ve realized that writing often helps me to process.
But as I am sitting down, I realized just now that it’s the first day of March. February is over and gone. March is here. Early Spring is here. I’m excited for what’s at my feet in this new day, and I’m excited for what’s to come. So excited that I have no more desire to think on what’s behind me. I’m inspired to think about this brand new day.
So this morning instead of “thinking back” I’m thankfully “thinking now” and I’m excited about Spring. I’m excited about the things the Lord is teaching me right now. I’m excited about the things He’s going to do. I’m excited as I see the pieces coming together.
He is faithful. Sometimes He allows us to go through things so that we can learn. But through it all He always guides our steps and when we ask for eyes to see and ears to hear, we can trust and believe that He will do what He has said in His Word.
What a loving Father we have. I’m excited about today.
