3.9.19 – No Weapon Formed Against You Will Prosper

This morning tried to begin with issues with my journal site. Issues with the subscriber emails not going out for the last week or so, issues with plug-ins, issues from yesterday with my post not posting and then it would be there and then the post would not be there… just all kinds of issues that seemed to be leading me into frustration first thing this morning.

But I had to just stop and remember that it never begins with me sitting at my laptop. That my day always starts with me and the Lord, it always starts with His Word, it always starts with me and Him and His Word and my journal.

Then as I was writing in my journal my pen stopped working it hit me that something was really up. haha ?

Then I had to just allow myself to laugh, grab another pen, and continue.

Interesting that the passage of scripture I was led to was this one today, which is actually one I like to have ready to speak often…

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper,

And every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn.” – Isaiah 54:17

Thought maybe I should just type that one right in here, make sure it’s right here plastered on my site today. ?

Here’s the NIV version of the full passage,

“See, it is I who created the blacksmith
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;
no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the Lord.” Verse 16-17

Things may attempt to distract me, come against me, take me down, but that does not mean it will happen. The Lord has given me what I need to prevail, to be victorious. The Lord is my Protector. He has good things in store for me, let nothing, big or small, hold me back from walking right into His promises for my life.

Today I am encouraged because I know the Lord has my back. I know that He has good things in store. I really belive that He gets excited about our little lives. He has so many things He wants to do and lead us into, things we can’t even comprehend.
