I love how the Lord simplifies things. When we start to over complicate, when our lives start to swirl, when things go out of control, He brings us back to the things that matter most. He reminds us of the simple truths.
Yesterday as I was driving, this song came on by Mo Pitney. And whether this song is intended to be about the presence of the Lord, which I believe that it is –or if folks have other interpretations of it, all I could think of is the Lord and how He’s always with us — everywhere we go, everything we do, He’s there with us, and He’s there, working in every life situation. Then as we grow in relationship with Him, our eyes begin to open and we start to see Him everywhere and in everything. I love that.
P.S. Did you know that we photographed Mo and Emily’s wedding a few years back? Great people, so talented and they love the Lord. ☀️
“Everywhere” by Mo Pitney
I open up my eyes and feel you by my side
Before the morning light even hits me
There’s comfort in the knowing that anywhere I’m going
I know you’ll be rolling with meEverywhere, every step
Every sunrise, every sunset
Every word I say, every night and day
Every single move, everything I doEverywhere
Everywhere
EverywhereAs I walk through this life, on my left and on my right
Even when I cast an eye in my rear view
I feel you ever close in the whisper of the road
As this journey unfolds, I see youEverywhere, every step
Every sunrise, every sunset
Every word I say, every night and day
Every single move, everything I doEverywhere
Everywhere
EverywhereIn the sunshine, when the rain pours
In this heart of mine, I know you’re everywhereEverywhere every step
Every sunrise, every sunset
Everything I see, every ounce of me
Every breath of air each and every prayerEverywhere
Everywhere
EverywhereEverywhere
