Someone said something that rang so true to me… that for my whole life, the enemy has been trying to steal my voice.
That is true, he has. And for a long time he did. But God intervenes in a big way when we let Him do a work in us.
Why would the enemy try to steal my voice? Why would he attempt to muzzle me?
Maybe because the Lord has something for me to say.
Isn’t that interesting?
Isn’t it interesting how sometimes it’s so hard to believe that maybe, just maybe the Lord could want to use…. me? Really, God?
Have you ever felt that way? Have you ever doubted that the Lord could use someone like you?
I was spending some time with the Lord yesterday, and I caught a glance of a book sitting on my nightstand and felt led to opening it up because I sensed there was something the Lord wanted to say through it in that moment…
“You are powerful everywhere you go… You are powerful because Christ lives in you.”
It continues…
“Everywhere you go, you carry His presence. Everywhere you go, you are carrying the light and love of Jesus. Everywhere you go, you shift atmospheres. You can walk into a room and pray and declare and shift what is going on in that room because you have walked in with Him.” – Lana Vawser, “The Prophetic Voice of God”
How true is that? What matters is that we carry His powerful presence in us. To remember this, to realize this, and to live this is powerful. It’s freeing.
“There isn’t another you, and what God has given you is unique; it’s beautiful. The way you hear from God is unique. How you shine Jesus and release Him to the world through your gifts and talents is unique and needed. No one else can release to this world what you carry. There is not another you! You are powerful and what you carry is powerful!” – Lana Vawser, “The Prophetic Voice of God”
Isn’t it interesting how sometimes the things we carry, the things the Lord puts within us that He intends to use, that we sometimes want to hold back or shut those things down because we assume it’s something the Lord couldn’t use? Or maybe we feel embarrassed or insecure about certain things about ourselves that we hide away because it just feels safer?
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20 NIV
The Lord can use you because He lives in You. He does the work that transforms us into vessels that He can use, that He can pour out of.
Lately I feel overwhelmed with this truth. Overwhelmed in a very good way.
“Oh Lord, that You could somehow use someone like me…. it just blows my mind!”
He can, and He longs to. It’s His desire. It’s His heart. ?
He created you, don’t you think He has a plan to use You for His purpose?
“How could I be silent when it’s time to praise you?
Now my heart sings out loud, bursting with joy—
a bliss inside that keeps me singing,
“I can never thank you enough!” – Psalm 30:12 TPT

P.S. Do you see the image with this post? I know, it’s a little different, it was actually an “accident” that we took this shot. I noticed it yesterday when I was going through and editing some photos. I saw what looked like a “dove” in there, do you see that too? It’s a lens flare, but I saw something deeper into it when I saw it and it caught my attention.
I see the dove !
I’ve seen a bunch of lens flares but I’ve never noticed a dove shape quite like this one before!
Excellent… thanks
This touched home with me like nothing else. Chills n tingles ran all over my body while reading. I feel the Holy Spirit’s power. I did notice the dove. Awesome! God Bless
Wow, isn’t God awesome? Thank you for sharing this with me, Nikki!
