I was sitting here thinking about my life, the lives of others, and just all of the stories, all of the testimonies, surprises, all of the twists and turns of life… all of these things sort of came together in one big swirl…

And as I sit here with the Lord, I share this with Him…

“Lord, You sure do have this “way” don’t You? You just have a way about You. This most beautiful way.” ?

What does that mean? I have no idea what I mean, but doesn’t the Lord just have this “way” about Him?

A “way” of working things together, a “way” of sorting things out, a “way” of coming through in unexpected, unexplainable ways….

He has this “way” of faithfulness.

This “way” of being true, trusted, unwavering, dependable, perfect…

This “way” of doing things that will just get your mind all wrapped up and twisted when you try to think about it –in a good “way”, of course. ???

Then I felt this verse just pounding within me, and it’s one of my favorite verses of Psalm 91 — it’s His response…

“Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” – Psalm 91:14-16

He delivers us, protects us, He answers us, He’s with us in trouble, He rescues us, He honors us, He gives us long life and satisfies us, showing us salvation we have in Him.

This is His heart for us. This is what He has promised those who love Him and hang onto Him for dear life. Those who “know His name” are in covenant relationship with Him, and He takes that quite seriously.

He has this “way” about Him. ☀️A “way” that I don’t understand, but a “way” that I love.

Do you ever sit and wonder what His features are like? His characteristics? What His hands are like, what His smile is like? (That’s a whole other post.) ☺️

Thank you, Lord. ?You are just simply wonderful, and I love You and trust You.
