I am only a couple of pages away from finishing my current journal.

Yesterday I received this beautiful journal for my birthday, and the picture on the front is very significant to me.

You see, back in June, I asked the Lord to give me a picture from His heart. Normally I don’t see things like this when I’m awake, typically. I do see pictures and things while I’m asleep, but I haven’t really asked Him to see a picture from His heart quite like this before.

I asked Him, and I waited… and then before I knew it this is what I saw…

A huge heart, a most beautiful heart, sitting in a garden with sunshine and flowers and vines and gardens, all growing from this heart. Everything originated from this heart, the vines growing everywhere, all of this “life” coming from within this heart, growing and bursting out of this heart. It was a beautiful scene, the gardens seemed to be never ending.

I even tried to scribble a picture in my journal.

Well, this new journal, the moment I saw it, the picture on the front of it looked a whole lot like the heart I saw in the picture.

The Lord has been leading me to verses that have to do with the heart, and I have been learning a lot about “the heart” lately. His heart and my heart.

“May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other…”  -1 Thes. 3:12

I am excited to see what will be written within the pages of this next new journal. ??
