You know those moments when you just about get in your own way…

and you’re in a moment, deep in selfishness…

and then the Holy Spirit, working through someone, has this way of helping you to realize this place you’re in…

a dangerous place of getting in your own way.

But then because of the Holy Spirit, because of that person the Lord uses…

You’re able to stop and realize that you are just about to get into your own way.

You’re able to turn from that and repent, just in time. ❤️

And then after you turn from your ways, the Lord fills you back up, and you have the strength, the whatever… for whatever you need to do….

and you’re amazed that you just about got in your own way, you’re amazed at how the Lord saved you from ruining something wonderful that He wanted to do.

If you would just get out of your own way.

That was me yesterday. But His ways are better than my ways. He is so good to remind me, to “get out of my own way.”

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
    neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
    so are my ways higher than your ways
    and my thoughts than your thoughts.” – Isaiah 55:8-9

Thank You, Lord… for helping me to realize — for helping me to get out of the way, just in time.
