12.2.19 – Ramblings

I love how God always finds a way to shine His light on a situation, in a circumstance, in our lives — in our hearts…

There is nothing that can remain hidden from Him. All things will come into His light and be revealed–in His timing.

He has the power to reveal anything He would like to reveal, whenever He would like to.

That is both comforting and — as human beings, concerning at the same time, isn’t it?

It is comforting to be known and understood, and yet at times it can feel “unsafe” to be known and understood.

But we can trust and know that as His children, we are safe in His light because in His light is His love, – it’s who He is, and in His loving light is the safest place to be. ?☀️

His light reveals truth. It’s a light that brings life and healing and renewal as it shines into our hearts, into our lives. His light a loving kind of light that brings comfort and relief, hope, and healing.

The bible says that,

“God is light.”

and

“Jesus is the light of the world.”

And it says that,

“God is love.”

…and Jesus showed us that, “Greater love has no man than this, than he lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).

Jesus then commanded us to, “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12).

I love seeing how the Father is…. and Jesus gave us the earthy example, and through the cross and the gift of the Holy Spirit, provided us a way to live by this example.

I love Ephesians 5:8 in the Passion Translation,

“Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light!”

I think I rambled quite a bit today, but sometimes that’s just how it comes. Sometimes it comes in ramblings and wonderings and curiosity, awe and amazement… coming just to an edge of understanding, and yet realizing there is still an eternity beyond this “edge.”

Sometimes when I write something here, I assume it’s probably “useless” until the Lord somehow miraculously does something with it. Never ceases to amaze me how He can do that.

It never ceases to amaze me the way (He reminds me that) He can use whatever I give Him.

Whatever we give to Him, He can use. ?And He uses what we give Him in the most beautiful, unexpected way.

Thank you, Father. ?

  1. This wasn’t rambling. He is light and He shows His love in light! I know this because He took me and showed me! He came and got me in the dark. In all of creation He is unchanging and perfect.

  2. You were not rambling and your words are not useless. You are being used by God to bring light into people’s lives. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s a blessing to many. ?
