“Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come — “the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!” – Revelation 12:10

“Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.” – 1 Peter 5:8
The enemy is constantly accusing us before God, before each other, attempting to stir up issues, cause offense, cause confusion, whispering in our ears how we’ve been wronged, and even “how we’ve done wrong, how we’ve done wrong, how we’ve done wrong…”
He wants us to live in condemnation. He wants us to give voice to the criticism.
It’s all part of his attempt turn God’s people against one another. He’s trying his best to get us to criticize and accuse each other.
What does this result in?
Self-destruction.
But…
“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD.” – Isaiah 54:17
Though the enemy is watching, spying, constantly searching for “evidence” he can hold against us — wrongdoings and failures…God has already taken care of anything we could ever be accused of, Jesus has already taken care of it all.
And Jesus is so beautifully shaping us into who He has always dreamed us to be. His way is growing us, not destroying us. It is building us, not tearing us down in defeat and destruction. Jesus is making it all beautiful.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” – Romans 8:1
Thank You, Jesus. ?You are my Defender.
“Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.” -Romans 8:34
