There is a unique perspective that belongs to our Heavenly Father…

“As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things.” -Ecclesiastes 11:5

…The things He can see and understand that we may not be able to see or understand.

But I love that we can approach Him, and ask Him to see from His perspective, to receive understanding, to hear His heart about the matter…. ?

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” -Jeremiah 33:3

Yet still, many times we have to wait. And in that season of waiting, we must trust Him, until the sight and the understanding comes.

Because many times, what He shows us can be an unexpected challenge to process.

And many times, He is waiting on all of the pieces to come together, the right timing, so that it will form the right “picture” for us to see, for us to understand.

“The unfolding of your words gives light;
it gives understanding to the simple.” -Psalm 119:130

The “unfolding”…

“Unfold” can also mean,

to develop, to present, to unroll, to unwind, to set forth, to set out, to evolve, to grow, to blossom, to bear fruit…

This morning, I am reminded of this verse:

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.” – Isaiah 55:8-9

Oh Lord, help me to be in place, and have my heart ready to receive sight and understanding from You, whenever it’s time for it to be given. Until that time, I will keep trusting You.
