What do you do when all the evidence around you gives you “good reason” to fear?
What do you do when nothing is going as you think it should be going?
What do you do when the pain or physical condition seems to be getting worse?
What do you do when you’re scared out of your mind that you’ll make a wrong big life decision?
Trust.
…And if it’s too hard to trust, if it seems too “impossible” to trust, just ask Him to help you to learn to trust in Him. He knows your situation, He sees your mountain, He knows your valley. ?
He knows the way. He has a journey for your life –one He plans on taking with you, every step of the way. ??♀️✨☀️
Declare that He is trustworthy, until it comes, until it becomes real to you.
“And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.” – Psalm 9:10
“He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.”- Psalm 110:7
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” -Psalm 34:19
It’s where the “unexplainable peace” comes from…
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” – Isaiah 26:3
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4-7
We have a loving Heavenly Father who cares more about us than we can even comprehend. Do you think He would ever allow us to be led astray when we are wholeheartedly seeking Him? When we are wholeheartedly learning to trust Him. When we’ve let Him search our hearts fully, and we have an honest and real relationship with Him?
He’s gonna show us what we need to be aware of. He’s gonna help us in our decisions. He’s gonna lead us down the path we should take.
This doesn’t mean He won’t take us right through scary situations. This doesn’t mean He won’t take us right up to the edge.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
As His beloved children, we always can look for Him, wholeheartedly, and expectantly…. no matter what we may see happening around us, or in our own lives. There’s more to the story than we can sometimes see in the moment. But we can trust that He has purposeful plans in store for those who seek Him wholeheartedly. ☀️
Thank You, Father. ?Help me to learn to trust You more and more completely.
