It seems that “fear” has launched an all-out attack on the whole world right now.

I’ve been watching and noticing how fear seems to be growing, and spreading —growing in intensity within the hearts of people all over the world.

It’s spreading far beyond the spread of any virus.

But I’ve also noticed another side of things happening…

Have you noticed that a lot of people are talking about Psalm 91 right now?

It’s kind of funny, sometimes my time with the Lord is more like a conversation, and as I noticed in the midst of all the fear and hype on social media…the rising of Psalm 91.

My conversation with the Lord sounded like this,

“Look at that, Lord! I see Psalm 91 everywhere!! The whole world is learning about the power and the truth of this passage! The whole world is learning to live Psalm 91, this covenant promise….. they’re getting to learn it and live it just like I’ve been learning to live it with You, God!”

(…as if it were a special passage of scripture “just between me and God” all this time, haha, and “the rest of the world is just now catching on.” ☺️??)

Have you ever felt like you “had” a very special “life verse” or passage that, in your life, God has been making it so real to you, so much a part of you, that you feel as though you are learning to “live it” within your journey, within who you are, and within your relationship with Him?

So, let’s just say that as I would scroll through social media and see…

“virus…. virus… virus……. Psalm 91!……. virus….. Psalm 91!…..Psalm 91!”

There have been parts of Psalm 91 that I felt I haven’t “lived” yet, and as all of this fear as been swelling and growing and spreading….. it hit me that we are living in this place of the “perilous pestilence” in verse 3. We’re living in the place of “a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand” in verse 7.

But we’re also getting to live in the place of,

“Surely He shall deliver you…” in verse 3.

We’re getting to live in the place of,

“His truth shall be your shield and buckler” in verse 4.

We’re getting to live in the place of,

“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, or the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor the destruction that lays waste at noonday…” in verse 5-6.

We’re getting to live in the place of,

“…. but it will not come near you, only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked…” in verses 7-8.

We’re getting to live in the place of,

“No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways…” in verses 10-11.

Right now, in this moment in time, we are living in the opportunity to live within the safety and the security of His presence.

“He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” (verses 15-16)

As the fear spreads, the truth is rising up. ☀️

Faith conquers fear.

As we face times of trouble, God Almighty is leading us through deliverance, and He’s showing us His salvation.

What a moment in history! What an opportunity to get to live this scripture!

What a time to get to see Him, to experience Him in a powerful way!

There is a part of me that is excited for those who are just now discovering this covenant promise, this powerful truth of Psalm 91.

Oh Lord, may it sink deeply into the hearts of the people! Sink it further into me! Thank You for giving us the opportunity to live in the safety of Your presence! Thank You, Jesus, for allowing us to get to live and experience You as our Deliver, our Protector, our Savior.
