3.16.2020 – I set my mind on You.

What an interesting time we’ve suddenly found ourselves living in.

It’s so easy to get wrapped up, pulled in, and overwhelmed by being surrounded by… fear, the unknown, and in the midst of uncertainty.

But God, I want to know what’s on YOUR heart this morning? I want my mind to rest upon You.

God, I want to know what You’re doing in all of this, how You’re working and moving… because I know that You are.

I think of all of the things You are doing undercover and behind the scenes to fight for us in all of the ways we are helpless, in all of the areas where we haven’t any control over the situation.

You’re our Hero, Jesus, and You lead us into Your ways.

I want to set my mind on Your ways.

I want to set my hope in You.

I want to think and wonder and dwell and imagine…. what it is You are going to do to see us through.

And all the ways You are going to infuse Your church with strength and courage in this day we are living in.

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” —Isaiah 26:3

God, I’m excited about the way You’re going to give us the opportunity to radiate YOU even brighter in the darkness of these times.

I am excited to see what You’re going to do, and how You’re going to come through, how You’re going to give us what we need to reflect Your heart, to be Your hands and feet, to bring hope and light and love to the people.

I pray for those who are crippled in fear right now. God, You and I both know that I know how that feels, because I often struggle through it too.

Give us the courage and the strength that we need right now in this day, Lord! Help us to keep our minds set upon You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
