And just like that, it’s the “First Day of Spring”… my, my! ???☀️
The feeling of “dread” of all to do with this virus stuff has about fizzled out within me, and now there is this feeling of excitement, and anticipation, and hope of what God is going do, what He has up His sleeve, and what He’s leading us into. All of this is beginning to surface within me now…
He has good plans for us, if we’ll just turn His way and open our hearts to Him! He wants to lead us in the most beautiful way. He wants the best for His children. He’s drawing us close! He’s setting us on fire with His light!
Our world is in a battle with fear, and faith is arising, the light of those who shine the light of Christ is burning brightly in the darkness!
As we encourage one another, as we speak truth and life, as we help those who need a hand, as we connect on this thing called the “internet” that just happens to be quite a major thing in our day…
The world is connecting in a powerful and unique way right now, and at a time where there has been so much disunity, the whole world is facing the same thing at this very same moment, and we are standing together in unity to come against this virus and this spirit of fear – together.
Isn’t that amazing if you really think about it?
I think of the Lord’s prayer this morning, in Matthew 6:9-13:
“In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
Father, Your will be done in this earth! Thank You for the work You are doing to prepare Your church for the awe and wonder that is to come! ✨
