3.25.2020 – His Way Leads to Healing and Refreshment

Jason said I woke up laughing again… ?

He said he asked me what I was laughing about, and I told him, but neither he nor I remember.

I wonder what God is doing. ?

A few of years ago, before I started dreaming regularly and before I began recalling and recording my dreams, I began by having these “dreams” where it was simply this “communion” or “fellowship” with the Holy Spirit, it was like I was aware that He was hovering over me as I slept, and it was so peaceful and beautiful.

This took place was around the time I really began to open up to the Holy Spirit. For most of my life I was fearful of God, and “spooked” by anything to do with the Holy Spirit. A spirit of fear had a hold of me for a really long time, and it kept me from wanting to seek Him. I mostly wanted Him to “keep His distance” because I was afraid of Him because of a distorted perspective —I didn’t really know Him because I was believing a lie about Him.

But I love how God can intervene, I love how He speaks to our hearts, how He can sing over us, how He can commune with us as we sleep, when we are most at rest.

These days I get excited about sleep, not because I want to run from living life, or because of exhaustion (at least not anymore — yay!) but because of this excitement within me for what God might speak to me in a dream, and how I might encounter Him. ✨

There are 3 verses that the Lord has highlighted to me this morning:

“And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.” —Isaiah 58:11

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.” —Proverbs 3:5-8

He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.” —Psalm 107:20

Father, You lead us into Your way, and You bring healing and strength to our bones, delivering us from a path of destruction. You make us like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. You are faithful. Thank you, Father. ☀️
