There is a sense of excitement within me, an expectation of what the Lord is about to do….
In my journal I wrote,
“Good Morning, Holy Spirit ❤️I’m so excited to see what You’re revealing and doing in the earth!”
And it was like I heard this in response,
“I am about to reveal My majesty.”
And while I have an understanding of what the word, “majesty” means in general, I looked up the definition to get a deeper understanding…
“majesty” means (and this is just the part that stood out to me)
“impressible stateliness, dignity, beauty, glory, awe, magnificence, awesomeness, royal power, authority, power, dominion, sovereignty, highness…”
And just sat there for a moment to think of what that could mean… (and I then decided that it was beyond my way tiny little mindset and way of thinking…)
So I went to the Word…
“The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, [wherewith] he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.” —Psalm 93:1
“Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty.” —Psalm 104:1
“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. —1 Chronicles 29:11
“I will speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.” —Psalm 145:5
“To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.” —Psalm 145:12
“Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.” —Isaiah 2:10
“To go into the clefts of the rocks,
And into the crags of the rugged rocks,
From the terror of the Lord
And the glory of His majesty,
When He arises to shake the earth mightily.” —Isaiah 2:21“And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.” —Micah 5:4
“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” —Hebrews 1:3
“To the only wise God our Savior, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and for ever. Amen.” —Jude 1:25
Wow, Lord. I can’t even begin to comprehend what this means, but Your Word says it’s true! Prepare us for what You have in store!
