4.9.2020 – What His blood means…

Haven’t these times been interesting?

I feel as though there is so much “symbolism” right beneath our noses —there to give us a deeper revelation and understanding of what is happening within our world, within our nation, as well as what could be at work within our own lives. Things that need to be addressed, things that need to be dealt with.

Last night I woke up around 2:30 AM, and the Lord put it on my heart to begin praying, I was wide awake… and there were some specific people that He put on my heart to pray for —He doesn’t really do this much in the middle of the night. When I went back to sleep, I had a very interesting dream. So I’ve kind of been reflecting on all of these things this morning, asking the Lord what it all means, and what He’s wanting me to see and understand.

I feel that right now, the Lord is giving us a deeper understanding of what it means to be “washed in the blood of Jesus” to be “protected and covered by the blood of the lamb”….

To be cleansed, to be purified, to be forgiven, to be covered, to be protected, to be healed… by His blood.

“that you shall say, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’” So the people bowed their heads and worshiped.” —Exodus 12:27

“In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” —Luke 22:20

“And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.” —Hebrews 13:12

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” —1 John 1:7

24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished…”—Romans 3:24-25

“This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” —Matthew 26:28

“…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sin, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” —I Peter 2:24

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”—Revelation 12:11

Thank You, Lord Jesus. Help us to understand and grasp this deeper understanding of what it means to be covered in Your precious blood.
