4.12.2020 – Watching to see Him

This morning feels very calm and quiet. My words are few….and I feel as though I am keeping quiet, in a sense, so that I can listen and watch for Him more intently —with earnest and eager attention.

Have you ever been sitting in the dark of the quiet, early morning, and you’re watching and waiting for the sunrise…filled with hope and excitement.

And then suddenly it comes…. it’s here….it’s happening…and I’m filled with renewed hope, awe, and wonder. ☀️

The sun is always there, but isn’t it interesting how there is “a time” we get to see it in the form of such a glorious sunrise? Such magnificence, such hope and relief, seeing the morning go from darkness to glorious light.

John 12:44-50

Jesus Came to Save the World

44 And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. 45 And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. 47 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”

“And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power.” —1 Corinthians 6:14

Thank You, Jesus, for all that You have done for us, for the hope we get to have in You.

  1. I have been receiving your daily blogs until about a week ago, when they stopped. I can’t find a place on your webpage to subscribe – I want to continue receiving your daily emails.

    1. Hello Jane! It looks like you had gotten “unsubscribed” somehow, I just resent a confirmation email, if you don’t see it, check your junk mail folder. Thanks so much for writing! Bless you! – Heather
