Note to Self:
Suddenly you’ve found yourself living in a strange time.
A time that seems uncertain.
A time that many are afraid— literally scared to death.
It’s a time that is unlike any other time.
Well, the good news is —you were created, on purpose, for this time.
You were made to live in this day.
And you were designed and created to be able to live victoriously in these kinds of times.
God has made a way for you to take courage, He made it possible for you to live in peace. It’s what He desires and asks of us, as His children.
Our Heavenly Father made it possible that we can live peacefully by His guidance, His leading —we never have to make decisions based out of fear, but out of a spirit of wisdom and with a sound mind.
Right now, it feels like the spirit of fear is pestering the whole world, but did you know that you are to be the example of the way, the truth, and the light?
“Me? The girl who was once afraid of the dark? The girl who was once tormented by the terrors of the night? The girl who was once “afraid of her own shadow.” The girl who grew up and decided it was safer to just run and hide from the world? The girl who still struggles with getting up enough courage to speak?”
Yes, even me (and yes, even you) were made to live in this day.
Sometimes we have to do things afraid in order to be courageous.
Sometimes we have to accept that our hands may tremble as we face something head on, as we do the thing we’re afraid to do.
In my weakness, He is strong. My help comes from Him, and He carries me through. He makes a way.
“Do not be afraid of them, For I am with you to deliver you,” declares the LORD.” —Jeremiah 1:8
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” —2 Timothy 1:7
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” —Isaiah 41:10
“David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.” —1 Chronicles 28:20
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” —1 Corinthians 15:57
