For the one who feels “forgotten” or “unseen” in this time… I feel compelled to write something this morning…
It’s a lie.
It’s a dangerous lie that will take you down into a dark pit of bitterness and offense, if you allow it to take you there.
I’ve seen it destroy people…a slow and miserable, life-long death.
I’ve seen it in my own heart before.
It’s a lie that must be cut off and cut out.
“And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.” —Genesis 28:15
“See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled…” —Hebrews 12:15
“For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” —2 Chronicles 16:9a
Today, you may feel as if no one remembers you, you may feel forgotten.
Maybe you feel that your friends have let you down, maybe no one has called to check on you, maybe you feel like if you were to go and hide, no one would even call out your name so see where you’ve gone…
It’s easy to question our worth when we feel this way.
But it’s important to rise above the feelings and remember this…
Your Creator remembers you. ☀️
God of the universe knows you by your name.
He’s had a hand in your life. He feels your pain, He knows your situation….
In fact, He knows you through and through, and He loves you even still, and not only “even still”…. He thinks you’re wonderful, and He loves you beyond what you can imagine! ?
Your Heavenly Father remembers you. He sees you.
You’re always on His mind.
You’re always in His heart.
He’s calling you to come close. He’s inviting you to come closer, and to listen and cling to to what He thinks about you.
Pour out your heart to Him —He can be trusted with your heart.
It doesn’t matter who has let you down, it doesn’t matter who “never sees you” or who has “forgotten you”….. just let it go, and remember, that you are never “unseen” or “unnoticed” by the One who loves you the most.
No, you are never, ever “forgotten” ?
So next time you feel the sting of pain that can come from a “partial truth”— remember the whole truth, and that is this…
No matter how things might seem, no matter how things may feel, no matter what you see with your eyes, or hear with your ears or think in your mind… you are never forgotten. ☀️You are always wanted. You are always cherished.
Cling to that, and cling to Him, and He will see you through the pain. He will turn it into an abundance of joy and peace, and strength to make it through.
