8.2.2020 – “Certain things do not matter…”

Good Morning, Father. ?☀️

Thank You for Your Holy Spirit, who teaches me and leads me and deals with all my ways, and shows me the way…. by Your Holy Spirit I am helped into the place of being able to encounter Your heart, Father. ?✨

Heavenly Father, it is Your heart to love me for who I am… not for what I do, not for what I can do for the world, not even for what I can do for You… You love me simply because, You just do. You loved me enough to take the time to design me and create me, and You love me, pure and simply. And it doesn’t matter what I have in my hand —You can use it!

No matter how small my human “ability” is— doesn’t matter if what I have is of any “significance”…. even if it’s a stick that I have in my hand, as You’ve taught us with Moses… You can use it! And not only can You use it, You can use it to do mighty things with anything we surrender to You!

“The LORD answered, “What’s that in your hand?” “A walking stick,” Moses replied.

“Throw it down!” the LORD commanded. So Moses threw the stick on the ground. It immediately turned into a snake, and Moses jumped back.

“Pick it up by the tail!” the LORD told him. And when Moses did this, the snake turned back into a walking stick.

“Do this,” the LORD said, “and the Israelites will believe that you have seen me, the God who was worshiped by their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” —Exodus 4:2-5 CEV

So Lord, whatever I have that You can use, I hand it over to You to use it. Forgive me for not trusting You with my inabilities, Lord! Help me to trust You more! Thank You for helping me to remember that “certain things just do not matter”…

You’re bigger than it all, and Your love is greater, and Your love goes beyond it all. ?

Thank You, Lord Jesus for making the way for me to be able to “come home” to the Father’s heart.
