Today, on 8/8, marks 11 years that Jason and I have been married. ?
Our wedding day was on “8/8” and I don’t think either of us really read into the biblical meaning of the numbers within the date back then —we kind of just chose a convenient date, honestly.
But since then, over the years I began digging into the biblical meaning of 8/8 a little more, and I love that we were joined in marriage on a day that means and represents “new beginnings”…. how that “theme” has played out in our lives a time or two!
Even our business name turned out to be called “Revival Creatives”…
And then “11” years… well, it can represent a few different things biblically… and honestly I am still processing it and seeking the Lord about it… but I mostly notice that it’s a “transitional” and “last hour” right before “the clock strikes 12.”
Ever since I started dreaming a couple of years ago—well, since I began recalling and paying attention to my dreams, I’ve noticed that I naturally began paying more attention to symbolism in my life, as a whole. All the patterns and numbers and biblical meanings behind creation…parallels between what’s happening in the natural and what’s happening spiritually…I began seeing these things when I never could see them before, and with each thing that I see, it’s an invitation to have a deeper conversation with the Lord— “Lord, what are You saying?”
I’m talking about the way God can speak to us through the deeper meaning of numbers, through what He’s taught us and showed us in His Word. ☀️
From that foundational place, He can speak to us through things like symbols and numbers to get our attention and to reveal deeper meaning and give us deeper understanding in our lives.
And it all draws us deeper into His Word, and closer to His heart. ?
I don’t know about you, but I love deeper meaning, I love searching out, I love discovering, I love looking into, I love revelation. ?
Why? It’s another way that I can understand my Heavenly Father, it’s another way that I can understand His heart so that I can grasp what He might be revealing or showing me and communicating with me.
When I get to know a person that I’m going to be in a relationship with in some way, I really want to get to know that person… I want to know all about them, who they are and what they’re all about, I want to know their story, I want to understand all their quirks, and I want to understand how they like to communicate with me so that I can better understand what they’re trying to communicate with me in all of their subtle ways.
And I feel like it’s like that with God…. I want to get to know Him more and more deeply, I want to understand His ways of communication so that I can see and hear when He’s speaking to me and when He’s showing me a glimpse of something “into”. ?✨?
This is part of the reason why I LOVE the Dreams & Mysteries series SO much. Most of the episodes are of John Paul Jackson, but after he passed, they continued the series for a little while… and it’s one of my favorites. I feel like I could listen to the series over and over and gain more and more understanding, from the layers and layers.
I love how it’s like that with the Word of God… we can read the same verse of scripture over and over throughout our lives… and then all of a sudden, when God wants to reveal something fresh and new, He can do that… just like that, in that very moment, and a brand new meaning comes into our hearts. It’s a beautiful and mysterious thing. ?

Father, I’m so thankful for this time in our lives that we get to dig-in to know You more and more! This invitation of a “time of discovery” that You’ve given us while we live here on earth… this wonderful, mysterious, joyous time of seeking and finding You. And there is no end to discovering the beauty of who You are. What an adventure, Lord! ☀️
