“God…that thing that I heard, that dream that I had, that thing that I saw, that which I felt so strongly on my heart…. God, that was You!!” ?
A few things I felt like the Lord showed me and put on my heart a few days ago… He’s confirmed to me this morning. ? ✨
…It’s like He’s just “returned my paper” that I turned in, and He made check marks and notes on my paper….He “graded” my paper, and then gave it back to me to see how I did. ?✔️
And many, many times He returns my paper with notes about the ones I got wrong… but He shows me the correct answers so that I can learn from my mistakes in the most beautiful and redeeming way. ? ✍? ?
I love how our Heavenly Father knows how we learn best. ?
He knows the best way to teach each one of us, He knows the best ways to get our attention. He knows the best ways to teach us the lessons we need to learn.
And it’s unique for each one of us…
It’s like He gives us each our own personal “Tutor”….. the Holy Spirit. ?
A “tutor” is,
“a private teacher, typically one who teaches a single student or a very small group.”
God has so much He wants to show us, He has so much He wants to teach us, He has so much He wants to reveal to those who love Him and are faithful to Him…
He just needs us to “sign up for the class”….. and “show up”…..
He just needs us to be willing, He just needs us to pay attention.
But He’ll put a hunger in us that we could never create for ourselves! A hunger that we never would have expected or dreamed of!
A hunger that will grow and grow and grow… as long as we stay connected with His heart. As long as we stay in tune with Him.
He’ll cause that thing to flourish in us. ??☀️
“Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.“—Psalm 25:4-5
And His answer is…
“The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him,
And He will show them His covenant.“—Psalm 25:14
Thank You for the way You lead us and guide us and teach us. You are so personal with each one of Your children… and You make learning Your ways so mysteriously beautiful. Something we could have never dreamed up for ourselves. You do a miracle in us!
Thank You, Father. ?
