I’m realizing that so much of our walk with Jesus in this journey of life….
….is “remembering.”
Being “reminded” by our Heavenly Father.
As we walk with Him, as we talk with Him…
Yes, that walk includes times that we fall and skin our knees, it includes the times when He’s carried us when we can’t walk, and the times He calls back to the path to where He is taking us—where He has been taking us all along…
He’s constantly reminding us who who we really are, in Him.
Who He’s always intended us to be(come).
His beloved child. ?
And sometimes the transformation process can feel more like “remembering” and “realizing”… in a most mysterious way…
“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”— Ephesians 2:10 (AMP)
To God, who we are becoming has all been a part of His eternal plan for each of us, for each of His children, all along. We’re just walking into it, we’re just stepping into it…we’re just realizing what we’ve forgotten…we’re just becoming what He’s seen all along.
…we’re just taking off all of the “layers of filth” we’ve accumulated from the times we’ve lost sight of Him over the years…
…from the lies we’ve believed and agreed with.
From all the “layers” we thought made up who we really are.
He’s taking those off. He’s uncovering. He’s revealing.
He’s bringing His light. ☀️ And we run right into His love…
He’s leading us into this perfect plan of His — a plan that uses all of the things we’ve come through, all of our mistakes, all of our hurts, all of our failures, all that we’ve done, all that’s been done to us, all of the mess…
Somehow, He’s using it all. ✍??
So when we realize…. “Wait – this is a part of who I am?? This is a part of who You always intended me to be, Father?”
Sometimes it feels a lot like “remembering”…. Sometimes it feels a lot like being reminded.
Because He’s reminding us of what is true about what He’s already had in mind for us, and He’s reminding us of what He’s always had in His heart for each of us, and for all of us together as a unified body. ?
Somehow, we can’t “mess up” what God has set in His heart to do.
Oh, take His hand and get on with it! ☀️ Don’t wait another day, take His hand and start walking and be amazed at what He will reveal in your life, and be ready to be amazed at what He reveals, all the beautiful things He’s always had in His heart for you, and how He’s always wanted to use You in His beautiful Kingdom of all Kingdoms. ?
He’s putting you back together again—into the most beautiful creation that He’s already created in you! ? He’s already put a song in your heart, and He’s bringing it to life in you! ?

Father, how You love to surprise us with the good things You’ve had in Your heart for us, all along. How You love to take us into these places of mystery, these places of discovery that You lead us into on this journey we take with You. And then You fill us with… awe and wonder…. ✨?
Thank You, Father. You constantly amaze me with fresh realizations of just how wonderful You truly are! ☀️ And I know that these realizations are only just the tiniest little glimpse…
