In everything we go through,
in everything we endure,
in everything that we learn…
In every situation that presses us or challenges us…
He’s using it to shape us, to prepare us, to draw us into His design for our lives, and into our role within His story.
…preparing us for eternity through the living of our lives.
He’s redeeming our souls, He’s redeeming our lives.
In the most beautiful and incredible and awe-inspiring way…
And every now and then, if we’ll stop for a moment to reflect…
…we’ll get to see and realize just some of the many ways He’s used the things that were hard,
the things that we thought were gonna kill us,
the things that seemed impossible,
the times we nearly gave up hope,
the times when our enemy almost caused us to drive off the road…
We’ll get to see the tiniest glimpse of just how beautiful His ways and His plans really are. ??
How He pulls it all together so perfectly. ☀️?✍?
And He doesn’t “spare us” from the pain… He loves us through it. ???♀️☀️
And how incredibly patient He is with us in the process…
As we’re waking up, and waking up…and waking up…. ☀️
“The Lord redeems the soul of His servants…” —Psalm 34:22
“He saves you from destruction; He supports you with grace and with compassions.”—Psalm 103:4
I love this song, thought I’d share it on here this morning…
“Patient Kingdom” by Sandra McCracken
“Let my soul rise up to meet You
As the day rises to the sun
Let my soul rise up to meet You
Let that patient kingdom comeWhen’s the last time you felt steady in the chaos?
Hear the sound when the seed falls to earth
Is it time to give up your destination?
Slow me down, let love do its work
Let my soul rise up to meet You
As the day rises to the sunLet my soul rise up to meet You
Let that patient kingdom come
As the trees and hummingbirds lead the chorus
They work so hard, and their center so still
Is it time for a change in direction?
Slow me down where I bend to Your willLet my soul rise up to meet You
As the day rises to the sun
Let my soul rise up to meet You
Let that patient kingdom come”
Thank You, Father. How You grow me, how You shape me and transform me…You don’t spare me from pain because You know the beautiful work that it does in me…. You know that it will allow me to better know Your love and Your heart through it all…out of Your love for me, You allow what is needed… but You give me Your peace and Your patience to endure, and You carry me through. How You redeem my soul, how You redeem my life! ?☀️
