Father, I see where I am right now…
…but You can see where I’m going, You can see where You’re taking me, You can see what You have planned in Your heart to do in me, and in my life… You’re aware of all the things that I cannot do.
You can see who You’ve created and designed me to be.
I may not be able to see it right now, but I declare my trust in You!
And I trust You to lead me in the way I should go, I know You are doing just that, I know that where I am now is the result of You getting me from “there to here”… “somehow”…
So I trust You to keep doing what You’ve promised You’d do…
I trust You to keep leading me, to keep teaching me, to keep me moving along in this journey.
Helping me to take that next step, helping me to find the strength and the courage to keep moving forward…wherever that may take me.
And I know that I can rest, knowing… that Your plan will so perfectly unfold in your perfect time.
I may get frustrated with where I am sometimes, and I may get frustrated with the things that I feel hinder me right now, but You can see infinitely past those hindrances.
And Father, I trust You to do the work in me that can only be done by You.
Oh Lord, help me to have the strength in my will and the resolve…. To be obedient and submissive to You.
You’re getting me there, Lord. You’re getting me there…
And it’s okay that I’m “right here” right now…
It’s okay. You’re not worried over it. You’re not concerned about that.
So I will keep walking… and I will keep taking these steps forward…
Even if they feel really small sometimes, and even if I feel like I’m not really getting anywhere in that moment…
I trust You, Father. I trust You with my life. Help me to keep walking in Your way.
“But I said, “Hold it, Master God! Look at me.
I don’t know anything. I’m only a boy!”
7-8 God told me, “Don’t say, ‘I’m only a boy.’
I’ll tell you where to go and you’ll go there.
I’ll tell you what to say and you’ll say it.
Don’t be afraid of a soul.
I’ll be right there, looking after you.”
9-10 God reached out, touched my mouth, and said,
“Look! I’ve just put my words in your mouth—hand-delivered!”— Jeremiah 1:6-9 The Message
