12.3.2020 – God’s Sonrise

The thing that’s on my heart this morning is very simple…

There is hope.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” —1 Peter 1:3, NASB

Remember

He is like the sunrise. ??

He has been, and He is.

And our God is a God of surprises… ?

Good surprises, over-the-top surprises…

…of the most wonderful kind. ?

Because HE is wonderful.

And His heart is beautiful. ?

And He’s invited us in

He desires for us to be a part of His good plans.

And we can know, that as His children, as His people…

…we live in a tender place in His heart. ?

He is trustworthy. He is good.

Wait for Him. He’s worth waiting for. ?

Because no matter how things seem, no matter how things appear, no matter how things seem to be heading….

He always does His part, and He always comes through.

Will you join Him in His good plans today?

Will you say “yes” to the desire of His heart?

Help us, Lord. Give us courage and give us deep resolve. ?

Let nothing keep us from walking in Your way!

Thank You for being the best Father, God.

Thank You for inviting us in. ??

Thank You, Jesus, for what You’ve done for us…and thank You for what You are doing... right here and right now. ☀️

Because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”—Luke 1:78-79 ESV

“Through the heartfelt mercies of our God,

God’s Sunrise will break in upon us,

Shining on those in the darkness,

those sitting in the shadow of death,

Then showing us the way, one foot at a time,

down the path of peace.”—Luke 1:78-79 The Message

“The splendor light of heaven’s glorious sunrise
is about to break upon us in holy visitation,
all because the merciful heart of our God is so very tender.

79 The word from heaven will come to us
with dazzling light to shine upon those
who live in darkness, near death’s dark shadow.

And he will illuminate the path that leads to the way of peace.”—Luke 1:78-79 The Passion Translation
