12.27.2020 – Giving “Voice” to His Word, Setting His Plans in Motion…

This morning has been very strange

I’ve wrestled for about an hour to “break through”…. whatever “this” is—it honestly feels like I’m “blocked” as I’m writing these words…

Feels like I’m almost “numb”…

So I brought it to the Lord. I presented it to Him.

“Lord, what is this? What do I need to do?”

And He already knew my situation, but I think He was taking me into and through something for a reason that I’m not really sure of yet.

So I’m going to share the passage the Lord has me zeroed in on this morning…

Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,

Heeding the voice of His word.
21 Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
22 Bless the Lord, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.

Bless the Lord, O my soul!“—Psalm 103:20-22 NKJV

And I thought…

“Who gives “voice” to God’s Word?”

“We do!”

When we speak it, when we declare it, when we live it, when we believe it…

It does far more than what we can see.

There are angel armies who are waiting, ready, listening, taking heed… to “do His Word”…

And we have a part in that.

When we remember God’s Word, when we take it into our hearts, when we make it part of who we are as we are living our lives…

We are giving “voice” to His Word.

And when we give “voice” to His Word…the angels are ready and waiting to “obey the voice of His Word” and His Word “takes flight” and comes to bring life into our situations—in our hearts and through our lives…

Isn’t that so beautiful? ?

“Praise the LORD, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands.“—Psalm 103:20 NLT

Are not the angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”—Hebrews 1:14

For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”—Psalm 91:11

I believe the Lord’s prayer—the example of how we are to pray… is far more powerful, and does far more than we can comprehend right now.

In this prayer, we are aligning our hearts with the will of God, and we are agreeing with Him—His Word, His heart! And we are giving voice to His will being done upon the earth…

Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.“—Matthew 6:10

He gives us each our part.

And He gives His angels a part too.

The day before yesterday I was sitting in the car, and I suddenly felt an urgency to speak some verses of Psalm 91—I’m not sure what it did, but I know that I know there was a reason for it.

So whenever you suddenly feel the need to speak a scripture out loud, or to “live it out loud”… don’t hesitate. Don’t deem it useless. Because His Word is sure, and His Word does far more than we can understand right now!

Who can really know what all happens, what all has been set into motion, in the moment we obey His Word, as we give “voice” to His Word?

Thank You for reminding me of this, Lord. It’s easy to lose sight of the things that happen that I cannot see, the things happening that I’m not aware of.

But You remind me, You make me aware, even though I cannot see it with my eyes. Your Word helps me to see what is true, what is real, and what is always on Your heart.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”—Psalm 119:105

Thank You, Father. ?
