“When he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.”—2 Thessalonians 1:10

“And to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things…”—Ephesians 3:9

“…the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations but is now revealed to His saints.”—Colossians 1:26

“What I tell you now in the darkness, shout abroad when daybreak comes. What I whisper in your ear, shout from the housetops for all to hear!“—Matthew 10:27

This morning, I am feel like I am “looking for the Lord” in the midst of this historic day, this historic time.

This historic “darkness”…

I am looking for Jesus in all of this, I am watching for Him…

I am looking for a great Light, in the midst of the darkness.

I am looking to see Him…and I know that when I seek Him with my whole heart, I will find Him, I will see Him, I will behold a beautiful, glorious glimpse of Him.

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.”—Jeremiah 29:13

As I look through the scriptures this morning, I’m amazed and in awe of the way God has “revealed Himself, His heart, His character, His way”…. to the world.

And look at the way He choose to show us so much through Jesus as He walked the earth!

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”—John 8:12

What a promise! ??

Revelation. Insight. Understanding.

Sight.

Light.

Vision.

May we stand on our tip toes, looking to see Him….

Seeking to find Him.

Watching and waiting to encounter Him…

Fully expectant…

Hopes held high…

Our King Jesus. The One and Only. Our living Hope!

Help us to see You, Lord.

We set our eyes on You.

Hearts fully expectant…

Surprise us, Lord! For You have the best surprises!

And we know, that when we look for You wholeheartedly, we will see You.

For You are the Light of the World. ☀️

And You teach us how to walk the earth as Your “Children of Light”… help us not to dim Your light!

You reveal to us the way to walk. For You are The Way.

“Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”—John 14:21

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true–in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.”—1 John 5:20
