1.9.2021 – “…but we have the mind of Christ.”

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.“—Colossians 3:2

I am here to tell you, that you can live in this time—in the midst of all of the chaos, in the midst of all that is being said and done in the “world” of social media, in the midst of all of the attacking and all of the “scary” lies being spewed out all over the place…

You can walk through this, while keeping peace in your heart.

You can walk through this, without “losing your mind.”

In Christ, you can walk through this, with a sound mind.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].“—2 Timothy 1:7 AMP

I used to be the biggest “worrier”… and as I am walking through these dark days, I have often had this strange feeling of “lightness”—almost a “floating feeling”… and this intense “hope” and “peace” of God within my heart.

Do you know that we always get to “get our hopes up” in our God?

And I feel this sense of “stability” that I know is holding me together, holding me up, and carrying me through, and causing me to be more “excited” than any other emotion right now… as I wait and watch for Him, as I trust in Him, no matter what I see with my physical eyes, no matter what I see in the words of the media.

And I gotta tell you,

…it amazes me—and I’m in constant awe and wonder of it.

Because it doesn’t make “earthly sense”…

There is nothing quite like being right in the middle of this “knowing” that I am being carried by God—”right here, right now.”

“Like an eagle that stirs up its nest,
That hovers over its young,
He spread His wings and caught them,
He carried them on His pinions.”—Deuteronomy 32:11

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.“—1 Corinthians 2:14-16

We may not be able to “see the bigger picture” right now…

We may not have all the understanding right now…

But we can trust God and know that we are being led, step by step, by Him!

“And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, And crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.”—Isaiah 42:16

As the cattle which go down into the valley,
The Spirit of the Lord gave them rest.
So You led Your people,

To make for Yourself a glorious name.“—Isaiah 63:14

So get your mind off of the things that are pulling you down into the quick sand, and cling to Jesus for dear life! ☀️

For He is the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE!

Take on the “mind of Christ” and ask Him to fill you with the hope you get to have in Him, as a Child of God!

And you will be amazed… and you will feel “lighter”…and it won’t make any earthly sense.

Get ready to experience Him “carrying you” through! ?

“Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.“—1 Peter 1:13

“For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.“—Romans 8:6

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”—Isaiah 26:3

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.“—Philippians 4:7

Thank You, Lord. ?
