1.11.2021 – He tears down, to build and to plant…

God has a way

…of doing what needs to be done

He digs into problems to fix them, to heal them, to repair them, to redeem…

He’s a God who sets things right, in His time, in His way

And how does He choose to do these things?

He uses us.

He chooses to use us.

Then the LORD reached out His hand, touched my mouth, and said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have appointed you today over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and plant.”—Jeremiah 1:9-10

…and after He “uproots and tears down and destroys” what needs to be destroyed, after He uses His people to “overthrow” what needs to be overthrown….

He builds, He plants, He heals, He restoresHe makes beautiful things. ?

May we be able to open our eyes to realize the importance, the urgency— of aligning with our Godaligning with His plan, aligning with His WAY, no matter what that way could look like.

No matter how uncomfortable His way might be,

no matter how “unpopular” His way might be.

His way is higher than our way.

We’ve got to remember this! We’ve got to stay reminded of this so that we’ll be able to see Him, to be able to know when it’s His heart!

Can we trust our God, as His people, to do what needs to be done—can we trust and know that He will do what He has promised in His Word?

He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.

Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.
“—Psalm 91:4-8 NLT

Can we trust our God—the One who has been faithful time and time and time again…. the One who has given us “testimony” after testimony…. time and time and time again?

He has always been faithful. Can we remember this in our hearts, in the time that we need to keep hoping in our God?

Can we hang onto Him, trusting Him to carry us through the darkness, to get us to safety, to get us to where we need to go next…

Can we trust Him to show us what we each need to do… so that He can deal with the issues of the “heart”…. hearts of men, the “heart of a nation”… as only He can do.

As He does so beautifully and miraculously.

And do you know, He invites us to each have a part?

He invites us in, and He gives us each a unique part, a piece of the puzzle.

He’s made a different piece, a different unique part for each of His uniquely created “Children of Light”…

He wants His children to take part in His will being done on the earth.

He gives us a part, He does the “heart” work that only He can do.

He wants His children to take part in LIVING, speaking, radiating…. His heart to a world that needs to experience His heart.

He desires us to BE His “heartbeat” to this world.

And in the midst of all of the darkness…

He is inviting His treasured people to dwell within His presence—this secret place.

He gives us a place to rest,

a place to be shielded from the harsh winds,

a place where we can have the unexplainable peace, regardless of what we face.

He has given us this place—in Him, to run to.

A place where He can give us the rest that we need, while we do what He has for each of us to do.

Thank You, Father. ? We are living in an exciting time, and we’re living in this time with YOU, right here with us.

We are watching the pages of another “story of Your faithfulness” unfold! ?✨

Thank You for inviting us into being a part of what You have on Your heart for this world.

May we remember that You are trustworthy.

May we remember that You desire to do the “impossible”… through us.

Help us to be willing in our hearts. Help our unbelief. Write upon our hearts, what we so desperately need.

And God says…

Because he has set his love upon Me,

therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honor him.

With long life I will satisfy him,

and show him My salvation.“—Psalm 91:14-16
