I wrestled to be able to write on here this morning…
Honestly, as I type these words… I’m still wrestling.
Sometimes I don’t know why God brings me on here to write every single morning.
I really don’t know how that has even happened…
But He always has a way of reminding me of what I need reminding of for whatever it is that He has for me to do in the season I’m in. 💝
And I’ve learned, and I am learning… that when I’m having to “wrestle through” something…. God must have something really good and very important on the other side—this mysterious “thing” the enemy is trying to keep me from getting to.
You know, resistance “backfires“….if we press through it, if we don’t give up in the midst of it.
Do you know those resistance workout bands?
The resistance we deal with only ends up making us stronger. 💪
The resistance we deal with only causes us to go higher… 🪁
So never give up in “this place”—the place of being “in the middle” of “needing to keep wrestling through.”
To keep pressing through…
Because God always has something unbelievably good on the other side.
That’s why the enemy is trying so hard to keep you from getting to it.
So keep going…trust God’s leading.
Listen, wait for Him (in the waiting you are pressing), trust, and keep going…
“So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you.”—James 4:7 AMP
God will give you what you need to “wrestle through” whatever it is. Do you know, He’s cheering you on? 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♂️
Just don‘t give up!
“Thus says the Lord:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
and makes flesh his strength,
whose heart turns away from the Lord.
6 He is like a shrub in the desert,
and shall not see any good come.
He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness,
in an uninhabited salt land.
7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
8 He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.”—Jeremiah 17:5-8 ESV
…and suddenly you’ll find yourself on the other side of that “thing” you had to wrestle through. 🚴🏻♀️☀️
And how the enemy “will flee”… for he knows what you’ve just gotten through to… 🙌
Thank You, Father. 💝 You make us victorious! Oh the surprises You have for us on the other side of the things we face! 🎊
