I don’t know that I’ll be able to convey or explain the sense of excitement that is in my heart this morning… ?

There is a “giddiness” that is exploding in my heart—and I don’t even fully understand it in my mind right now. I can’t quite put my finger on it just yet…

It’s the kind of excitement that comes from more of a knowing and a realization in my spirit.

A knowing that something was just written upon my heart by the pen of God… and I’ve not been able to quite grasp it in my mind just yet...but I know that I know that I know that it’s there.

You see, God has this way of showing me things, teaching me things, helping me to see things…. to know HIM more… through the things He takes me through in my life… in the natural, in what I go through and experience.

Through the challenges I face…fears, pain, uncertainties…even attacks of the enemy. (They backfire, by the way!)

Through the things I have to walk through, and walk out as I must sometimes “wait out”…

Through the things He leads me to and through…

It’s like He allows me to go through things in the natural, that He will later show me something that goes much, much deeper, and even much, much “broader” than what is going on in “just my life.”

You see, I’ve gone on another “adventure” through my journals this morning… ?☀️

And the Lord is leading me through some MAJOR “connecting of the dots” in my life.

He is showing me some things about His ways—His faithfulness and His goodness… through what I’ve seen and experienced and gone through in my life.

And He’s giving me insight into some things…

Oh these times with Him are my favorite! ??

When things come together—another “new dot” is connected—sometimes many new dots—and I can begin to see and grasp and realize a little more of the “big picture” through the most subtle little details that He shows me.

And He shows me these things in such a small, quiet way… these MASSIVE, mind-boggling connections that bring MASSIVE realizations of who He is and how He works so beautifully….not only in my life, but in His Kingdom!

And that’s where the excitement and giddiness begins to burst into my heart, into my spirit. And I don’t care that I don’t fully understand it yet! ?

All I want to do is just sit here and marvel at Him, and marvel at what He does…and marvel at WHO HE IS.

I want to sit here and and marvel at this new thing He has written into my heart that wasn’t there before… I don’t need to “understand” it. In this moment, I just want to savor it, while sitting here with Him. ?

He’s SO good. ?

God is ALWAYS a “big step ahead” of us!

And when we document our lives in a journal, and we note all of the things He wants us to note each day… HE CAN USE THAT again and again and again, to show us new things, new patterns that teach us about what He was doing all along.

He can “paint pictures” for us to see as He begins to “connect the dots in our lives.”

He can show us NEW things about His heart, His way, His nature.

When we devote our lives to Him, we can know that He has already ordered our steps and prepared the way THROUGH—He has already orchestrated a plan through whatever it is that we are facing or will ever have to face!

…and then He is also right here with us, within each moment, as we take our steps—step by step, He helps us to take them!

He empowers us to take the leaps, to take the jumps, to KEEP MOVING…to keep hoping, to keep praising, to keep TRUSTING.

And then He sees us through…✨

And when we look back at what we went through, He’ll give us fresh eyes to see His fingerprints all over those times... things we couldn’t see at the time.

…little glimpses—insight into the “hindsight”—His fingerprints all over the days He was already preparing my way, things He was already putting into place…

He ALWAYS was, already taking care of me.

And He is ALWAYS already taking care of YOU!

He is already in the future working out our steps, ordering our steps for the things we will have to go through…. and He has made a way!

HE is already there in the future…. He was there with us in our “present.”

He was already preparing the way for us to walk through, victoriously!

And guess what…

No matter what you are facing right now, you can rest knowing that He has already gone into your future, and He has already prepared the way for you.

He has already prepared the way THROUGH—any challenge, any attack, any obstacle….

And He has already prepared our celebration of VICTORY.

And then He comes to where we are… right here by our sides…

He shows us where to go, He shows us what to pray… (because OUR prayers play a HUGE part!)

And He helps us walk us through every. single. step. ??‍♀️☀️

“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way…”—Psalm 37:23

Oh, thank You, Father! ?? What a joy it is to journey with You!
