1.30.2021 – An encouraging thought…

Do you ever feel a bit overwhelmed at “living” out this thing called “life”?

…at really living it?

…at really doing the things God has in store for us to “live out”?

That sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? And yet, really “living” this life with God can honestly seem scary and overwhelming at times.

God thinks much “bigger” and much “smaller” than we do, all at the same time.

And He sees a much “bigger” picture, all the while, seeing every single tiny detail… nothing goes unnoticed by Him.

I love how He sees how “small” we are, and He says, “I can use this one.”

This morning a word of encouragement popped into my mind from the place where the Lord speaks into my heart…

“The Lord will teach you how to use what He’s given you.”

(I love when these things burst into my mind from that place in my heart… sometimes they’ll be so surprising and sporadic— I’ll not even be thinking about the subject in the moment, most times.)

I began thinking on this thought…

Yes! When we walk with the Father, when we obey the Holy Spirit, when we follow Jesus—His way, THE way…

He will so faithfully teach us how to live this life that He’s designed for us to LIVE!

Step by step…

Lesson by lesson…

Even “failure” by “failure”…

These are all usable and teachable moments. He can use them all!

He’s teaching us how to LIVE

Step by step…

Decision by decision…

“Yes” by “yes”…

…And then we watch and marvel… as we watch LIFE begin to flourish and unfold. ?✨

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you.”—Deuteronomy 31:8

“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”—Matthew 11:28

Seek Him. Follow Him. Rest in Him.

Trust in Him.

He makes it so pure and simple for us.

Lord, help us to be pure and simple

Thank You, Father. ?
