…and then He brings us to the place where we are to take “the next step”…
Whether that “step” means something we are to do in faith,
or perhaps waiting, in a time of waiting,
“Be still, and know that I Am God.”
a time of standing,
a time of trusting in the midst of “the unknown”…
And in this time, so often our enemy will attempt to scream lies at us…
Attempting to harass us and shut our faith down with things like,
“You’re not going to be able to do that, silly.”
“You’re crazy. Get into reality.”
“You don’t have what it takes to do that. Just look at you…”
“Something is too wrong with you…you’re going to fail.”
“God is going to let you down.”
Blah, blah, blah.
But the truth is,
God enables us for each “step” we are to take in our journey with Him.
There is no step, that He would ever ask us to take, that He would not give us the ability—what we need—to be able to take that “step.”
And so He brings us to the place where we take that next “step”…
And if I attempt to run from taking the “step” I need to take,
He draws me close again.
And God makes “the way”…(He has made the way, and He is making the way)
And He makes it perfect.
He produces the perfect path.
A path we couldn’t possibly make for ourselves.
He makes our way perfect.
…even in our “imperfect stepping” —He makes our way perfect.
“It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect.”—Psalm 18:32
Do we really realize what we are asking when we pray,
“Oh Lord, teach me Your way!”
How might He decide to “teach us His way”? We don’t know…
“Teach me Your way, O LORD, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name.“—Psalm 86:11
There are so many different kinds of “steps” He might have in store for us to take, in order for us to learn “His way.”
“Why this step and not that kind of step?”
But when we learn to trust Him,
In the midst of allllll of our questions, all of our wonderings….
He’s teaching us “His Way”…
And through each and every step—big and small…
He makes perfect our way,
in a way that only He can.
He has made “the way” and He WILL make “a way” for us—a perfected “way” that only He can create.
“GOD the Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like those of a deer; He makes me walk upon the heights!”—Habakkuk 3:19
“God always makes his grace visible in Christ, who includes us as partners of his endless triumph. Through our yielded lives he spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go. We have become the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One to God—a perfume of life to those being saved and the odor of death to those who are perishing.“—2 Corinthians 2:14-15 TPT
Thank You, Father. ? All of it will be worth it. These lessons with You, are worth it. These “steps” with You, these times with You, make it all worth it.
