As I sat down at the table this morning,
I heard and I felt the tenderness of this:
“You—are on His heart.”
Something within my heart realized that this truth— this “you“….goes “far beyond just me” this morning—especially as the Lord began leading me into specifics—specific people, specific situations that I saw.
And so, I’m not exactly sure ‘who‘ I’m ‘writing to’ this morning…
But if you it’s “you” —and you find yourself reading this—just know, that “You—are on His heart.”
You—the one who feels “alone” in what you’re facing…
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who feels as though “You haven’t got a chance of getting over this (whatever ‘this’ is)….”
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who thinks there is “No one who ever thinks of you.”
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who thinks, “I could slip away and no one ever would notice or care…”
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who thinks …”I don’t matter”…
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who feels… “I shouldn’t be grieving so hard over this loss”…
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who cries to sleep at night…
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who thinks, “No one could ever love me.”
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who believes you have no “voice” inside of you…
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who believes, “I haven’t anything to give”…
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who is spiraling in thinking, “I really blew it this time!”
“You’re on His heart.”
You—the one who is frustrated because, “I can’t do anything right…”
“You’re on His heart.”
If you are reading this right now…
“YOU are on His heart.”
Yes, “even you.”
“Every single moment you are thinking of me!
How precious and wonderful to consider
that you cherish me constantly in your every thought!
O God, your desires toward me are more
than the grains of sand on every shore!
When I awake each morning, you’re still with me.”—Psalm 139:17-18
And our God, our wonderful Heavenly Father—He’s already working in your situation.
He’s already mending the broken places of your heart.
He’s already revealing His truth to defeat the lies!
He’s already soothing your soul.
…and He already sees you as “whole.”
You “didn’t think it was possible,” did you?
But you, are on His heart.
“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.“—Psalm 34:18
“If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there…”—Psalm 34:18-20 The Message
So come into His light…
And see…
…a glimpse of just how much… “You, are on His heart.”
You always have been.
He sees you.
He knows you dearly, by your beautiful name.
And He’s always so glad He created you.
He takes great joy in you!
And He loves you.
He welcomes you to come close…
And He’s much closer and so much more real
than you think. 💝
