I’ve been pondering… 🍃
…we’re born—
…and then we dive right into this sinful, broken world…
…but then…
we’re given an opportunity
within this journey of life.
An “opportunity” for God to restore us. 💖
An invitation from God that says,
“Join Me on a journey of recovering your soul and redeeming your life…”
And the whole world is going through this process, all at the same time.
No one who is living here, has finished and completed this process.
Some may be a little further in their journey than others…
But as God’s people, we’re all going through this process—in one way or another.
Psalm 23:3 says…
“He refreshes my soul…”
“He renews my strength…”
“He restores my soul…”
“He refreshes and restores my soul (life)…”
“He renews my life…”
“He gives me new strength…”
“True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.” (MSG)
“He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love.
His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss.
3 That’s where he restores and revives my life.
He opens before me the right path
and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness
so that I can bring honor to his name.” (TPT)
Oh Father, how healing it is…
to simply come to You…
and to get to
just. be. “me“
before You. 💝
And into Your hands,
I release all that is on my mind.
I release all that is on my heart.
I release all that is weighing on me.
As I come before You…
I just pour it all out—
Whether it be in speaking it to You quietly…
Whether it be in speaking it to You through my tears…
Whether it be in writing out every. single. detail. in my journal…
How You teach me
How You heal me…
And nothing about “me” disappoints You.
Nothing about “me” makes You want to pull away.
You see everything about me, You see all of my issues, and You see all that I truly am…
…and You only pull me in closer. 💗
Though I might be displeased with myself at times, You’re always pleased with who You’ve made me to be.
Thank You, Father. 💝
You quiet my raging mind.
You soothe my soul.
And You’re teaching me…
what it means—and what it’s like
to have a “soundness of mind”
as You take me though
a lifetime journey
of renewing and restoring my soul…💖✨🌈
