Have you ever felt as though…

God led you up to a place in your life,

and it’s like you can see the “doorway” into this thing,

you can see this thing beginning to “unfold” in your life…

And you’re excited, and you think you’re ready to run right through the door, but then God says,

“Wait…not so fast. 💝 Remain with Me, don’t run ahead. Let’s work on something very important first…something that you need before you walk through that door and take off running into this area of your life that I have in store…”

Sometimes God prevents us from running right through the “doorway”…

…doorways that He has led us to.

Doorways into good things, that perhaps, we’re not quite ready to walk through and into until He has first taken us into the deeper “heart work” that we need for what’s on the other side of the door—the preparation for greater capacity that we need— in order to be able to walk and to run and to fly into the thing He has in store for our lives.

Just look at the work He does in a caterpillar. The caterpillar runs all over the place as a caterpillar for the first portion of its life.. and then suddenly, it’s time to make the cocoon, and go into a deep, deep, transformative, work…

…just before the caterpillar is prepared and ready to burst through and “take flight” as a butterfly.

And often times, in these seasons, it can feel like…

“God, it feels like You are ‘holding me back’ from running into this thing… it feels like You are preventing me from jumping into this “thing” that I feel You’ve been leading me to…I don’t understand…”

But know…

that when He does this

it’s because He loves us

and He knows exactly what we need, and exactly when we need it.

It’s okay to be where you are with Him right now.

He knows what He’s doing.

Our Heavenly Father knows what kind of “seasons” we need…

…before we’re ready to fly into our season of “Spring.” 🌱⛈⛅️☀️🌷🥀🌈🌺💐
