This morning I turned straight to Mark 16:9, and it says…
“Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. She went and told…“
Don’t you think it’s interesting how the writer “threw in” the part about her being the one He “cast seven demons” out of?
You see, the thing about Mary Magdalene is…
She knew Him well. 💝
She experienced Him in her life, in such a real, and deep, life-changing way.
And here is what I felt like the Lord put on my heart this morning…
You are not ‘less’ to Him
if you have lived through
a dark, and troubling past.
You are not ‘less’ in His eyes.
No…you have been redeemed.
And now…
you know Him so well,
because He has led you —step by step—through the darkness
and into His glorious light. ☀️
And now…
He has chosen you —yes you…
to “tell the others” of Him.
He knows you, and He loves you.
Thank You, Jesus. 🌹☀️
Thank You for what You endured for us. 🥀
Thank You for walking with us and fighting for us, and for never, ever giving up on us.
Thank You for redeeming our lives. 💔💖
…and thank You for choosing “us” to tell of You. 📖✨
