Something Old, Something New

This morning I took a journey back through some of my journals from 2016-2018…

Every now and then the Lord prompts me go with Him into my journals, because most of the time, He has something fresh and new for me to see and to grasp and to understand…something fresh, that will “reignite” certain areas of my heart again.

I love how He can take something “old” and make it “new”… how He can take a memory and make it apply to “now” in a new and fresh way.

This is one of the things I LOVE about journaling and keeping records…

And this morning, the thing He placed in my heart is this:

Don’t let go of the promises that He has given you.

Record them…

Remember them…

Reflect on them…

Hang onto them…

Because what He has promised…

is, or will be… just right there

ready for you to step into

in His perfect timing.

He is faithful. 🌈☀️

Thank You, Father. 💝

“He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like the head of a household, who brings out of his treasure things that are new and fresh and things that are old and familiar.”—Matthew 13:52 AMP
