The Beautiful Mystery of Tears

This morning as I came before the Lord…

I asked Him to wash away something that He led me to discover within my heart.

And as I felt the tears come…

I knew, somehow

in that very moment

that a cleansing work had been done in my heart. 💖

Have you ever noticed…

the timing of your tears?

Have you ever noticed the tears…

in the moments that you know

that He has just washed and cleansed

an area of your heart? 💖💧

You can feel it.

You can feel Him.

As the tears break through…

in that moment

you know

that something has changed,

something has been cleansed,

something has been washed away,

something has been refreshed,

something has been renewed,

something has been released,

something has been refilled,

has just been deposited

the deepest, hidden places of your heart. 💖🎊

And you know

that a miracle work has been done.

His work. 💝

A mighty, unseen work that only He can do! ✨

The kind of work that He is known for. 💗✨

has washed over

and into

the deepest parts of who you are.

has just mended broken places

you didn’t even know were broken.

And you know

“He is here.” ☀️

And the most soothing tears flow

I feel like there is so much to tears that we do not yet understand.

There is

to what tears are,

what they can show us,

what they truly do,

what they’ve been designed for—both in the natural and in the spirit.

Why are our tears so precious to God, that He would keep them in a bottle?

That not one would be lost…

“You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping.
You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost.
For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.”—Psalm 56:8 TPT

Thank You, Father for the tears…I used to despise them, but now I love them—now I am so thankful for them.

You are God of the deepest depths and infinitely beyond the highest heights!

You are a God of

You are

“…one God and Father of us all who is [sovereign] over all and [working] through all and [living] in all.”—Ephesians 4:6 AMP

Thank You, Father. 💝 How You draw us with Your love and with Your mystery… ✨
