A Part in His Play

What is it

that we’ve believed…

that we would think

we want or need to be…

“the same”…as everybody else.

…when our God has so obviously created us to be

wonderfully, and uniquely

different“…

Purposefully, and precisely

different.

Multicolored

multifaceted…

Each a unique “color” of His heart—His beautiful personality.

He is pure, “white light.”

Perfect and unchanging.

And yet He designed us each to be

our own unique “color” of His “rainbow”… 🌈

What lies of “comparison” have we believed…

if we feel as though we must all be the same as the other?

HE is the same.

And yet He designed us

for

“unity in diversity”

the “same” only in Him.

With a desire to BE

only as more like Him. 💗

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”—Genesis 1:27

We are created to be uniquely different.

One-of-a-kind.

Each with a unique function….purposed for a God who remains the same.

“But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body…“— 1 Corinthians 12:18-30

What good would it be

for us to all have “the same part” —the same “role” in a play?

No…💖✨

…He designed us to

each

have

our own, unique part

in “His play.”

It is said…

that “it is through the characters

that the Playwright reveals

His message.” ✍🏻 ☀️

Through the actions…

though the personalities…

through the dialog of the characters…

He longs to reveal His heart

to each of us

and through each of us

…in His multicolored ways. 🌈

“…And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.“—1 Corinthians 12:6

Thank You, Father. 💝🌈 Your ways are beautiful. You stay the same, and yet You desire to USE the diversity that You’ve created for Your purpose. Thank You, God. I don’t need to be like anybody else, but me—and me in You. What a relief… ✨
