Have you ever found yourself in the “place”
of being SO hungry to learn…
to grasp something
to understand…
…that you find it hard to wait patiently for the understanding that can only come from the Lord?
There is a lesson, even in THIS place…
Jesus Christ, “The Great Teacher”, has a perfect “lesson plan” for each one of us. 📖☀️
He knows exactly what we need to learn,
and He knows exactly how and when we need to learn it.
And sometimes,
what we want to know,
what we desire to grasp and understand—is not the main lesson that we really need at that time.
But how we can trust Him—He knows…
For He is
“The Great Teacher” ✍🏻 💡
“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.” – Mark 6:34
And He has invited each of us to come to Him
and learn from Him directly.
But we must be willing to follow His “lesson plan.”
“Cease striving and know that I am God…”—Psalm 46:10
“The LORD is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him, To those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word].”—Lamentations 3:25
“This is what the LORD says– your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”—Isaiah 48:17
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”—Psalm 32:8
“Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.”—Luke 6:47-48
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.'”—John 8:31-32
“‘Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.'”—Matthew 11:28-30
“This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.”—Matthew 6:9-13“Then said he unto them, ‘Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.'”—Matthew 13:52
“When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching…” Matthew 7:28
“I’m telling you these things while I’m still living with you. The Friend, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at my request, will make everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have told you. I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left—feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught.”—John 14:26 MSG
“Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way.”—Psalm 25:8-9 ESV“How good you are to me!
When people turn to you, Yahweh,
they discover how easy you are to please—so faithful and true!
Joyfully you teach them the proper path,
even when they go astray.
9 Keep showing the humble your path,
and lead them into the best decision.
Bring revelation-light that trains them in the truth.”—Psalm 25:8-9 TPT“‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”—Matthew 28:19-20
Some of His lesson plans include “trial and error”…
Some include “failures” and He takes us through learning how to get back up and keep going…
Some lessons include a humbling process…
Some lessons involve learning to wait patiently—not going over here or there for the “answers” out of impatience, but waiting upon Him.
He is the truth and He is the way.
And His Spirit guides us into “all truth”
as we come to Him…
and we learn to wait expectantly
and to watch and listen quietly
and we look to see Him
in the midst of whatever kind of lesson we are in.
Can we LEARN to wait upon Him,
so that HE can teach us
using His perfect lesson plan?
Or will we attempt to bypass His process
and miss out
on learning from
The Greatest Teacher?
He wants to teach us in a way, that leads us closer to His heart. That we may KNOW Him…that we may know the Father, and that we may KNOW and UNDERSTAND His Word and His way.
We can trust Him.
Thank You, Lord. 💝 ☀️
