I love the way God speaks to me in “my language”… 🌷📸 🌈
And I love the way God leads us into His language, His Word, and then He “speaks” it to us in our language—He makes it real to us in a way that we can understand and receive. ☀️
The way He “meets” us is so personal. 💖
He designed us, He knows us.
He loves us.
And He “meets” us in a way, that He has designed us to be able to uniquely receive from Him. ✍🏻
I love that about Him. 🥰💖
He delights in “meeting” us—speaking to us, showing us things…in a way that we are designed to receive!
For me, I’m discovering that as I hold my pen, and as I have my piece of paper as I am before Him, this is usually when the words, the inspiration, the ideas, the pictures seem to just flow from Him.
It’s when I can “hear” and “see” Him the best.
It’s how I can receive and process what I’m “hearing” and “seeing” from Him the best.
And I as I am suddenly compelled to write these things out, I get giddy and excited as the words begin to flow and release onto the paper… ✍🏻
And do you know how much I’ve loved “pens” ever since I was a little girl? Interesting, right?
(Now, I do wish that my words would flow a little better, and more organized verbally, but I’m learning to be thankful, and I’m learning to recognize that just as He has designed us each uniquely, it is because He wants to use each one of us, specifically and uniquely.)
I’ve also discovered that the Lord also does this with me, through my camera, through photography, and the “messages” that can be seen and heard within the photos that I take. Even “messages” that I may not be able to see, but perhaps someone else can see and receive what the Lord is speaking, through a photograph that He leads me to take.
I also love the way God speaks through our “dream language” —specific symbols, characters, situations—that speak to us personally in our dreams. Many symbols do have a general, biblical meaning, but there are SO MANY symbols that God uses that are completely unique to us, individually.
He knows these things about us, because He knows us so well. 🌷
And He wants us to be able to receive what He has on His heart to reveal to us. 💖
It’s the same with the language of “seeing” I think…
“Oh. my… is THIS what ‘seeing’ really is? 😬 That’s amazing, but is this what it’s supposed to be like for each one of us all the time? I don’t know if I want to ‘see’ like that, I don’t know if I would be able to, because it seems so extreme, so overwhelming. But I’m willing, Lord…”
But do you know what I discovered in all of that, and what I am still discovering?
God created me to receive and to “see” and to perceive, in a unique way. A way that fits the way He designed me to receive, and then to release.
Now, God can surprise us and do something “off the wall” and different whenever He wants, and that’s fine with me now, but I love the way He designs us each to be able to “receive” from Him—in unique kinds of ways that are in-line with His unique design, and His unique plans for each one of us.
Here’s another another example that I’ve realized…I also tend to “see” patterns, often in my own journal or in the natural—in dates, in nature, in numbers, in situations, in symbols that I actually see with my natural eyes… and then He’ll help me to “see” something “more into” these things that are “unseen” …until He gives me the eyes to be able to “see it.” He helps me to “connect the dots” and then I’ll be able to “see” that connection.
God is amazing, isn’t He?
And He’s so much more personal than I realized for most of my life!
He desires to personally speak to each one of us.
He desires to show us what is on His heart. 💝
And He has designed each one of us to be able to “receive” from Him, in unique, one-of-a-kind ways.
He invites us into a journey…
of helping us to discover these things—this “language”
with Him. 🙌
What an invitation... ✨
“The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”—1 Corinthians 2:10-14
Thank You, Father. 💝
