Writing to Connect, to Process, and to Heal

O send out your light and your truth;
       let them lead me;

let them bring me to your holy hill
       and to your dwelling.

Then I will go to the altar of God,
       to God my exceeding joy;

and I will praise you with the harp,
       O God, my God.”
 Psalm 43:3-4

My Heavenly Father must know me SO well…

that He would lead me into writing to Him, and with Him. ✍

He must have known me so intricately,

that He would lead me into a way a “tool”

that helps me to pour out,

and to sort out

all of the thoughts that swirl in my mind.

all of the things on my heart that I need to process through.

all of the things that fill my heart to overflow…

He must have known me so well…. to lead me into this way, that helps me in connecting with His heart.

He must have known exactly what I need

to be able to process

to reflect

to remember,

and to process and understand the revelation He allows me to see, within my life.

Writing helps me more than I ever realized. 📝

I’ve written in journals since I was a little girl, off and on.

But He must have known

Yes, He knew the way He wired me,

and He knew He would lead me into this “way” that would be so refreshing and healing to my heart and mind.

And this morning, I’m so thankful.

I love that He knows me so well,

and I’m thankful to now know…

that I am safe in His presence.

I am wanted,

I am welcomed. 💝

I am invited

into the presence of the Most High, Almighty God my Heavenly Father. 🤩

And what a joy it is, to me

to spend time with Him

in this way, each day.

“I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones!” Ephesians 1:18 TPT

Thank You, Father. 💝
