Lost & Found

Have you ever lost something that was meaningful to you?

Have you ever had something very precious stolen from you?

Destroyed?

Demolished?

Gone?“…

But what if…

that thing

is also meaningful in God’s heart

and it has already been recorded and established

and safely kept

in eternity?💖✍

And what if...

nothing that truly matters

has really been “lost” at all?

Wouldn’t that be so like Him? 💕

I’m just pondering this morning…

What does God keep record of in heaven for us?

What does He store up for us in “His library?”

…from our lives?

…from the milestone moments with Him?

…from the things that He places on our hearts in the day.

…from the beautiful things He has done in our lives.

…the things that are not only important and meaningful to us…

but also to Him.

Perhaps, first and foremost, to Him–He thought of it first!

And He then planted “that thing” within our hearts,

that it may flourish and grow in and through our lives. 🌷

Don’t you think He has a way of keeping record of these kinds of things, in eternity–to be remembered?

Regardless of what happens to them here, physically

Regardless of our minds failing…

Regardless of what is stolen…

He restores. He redeems. He remembers.

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.”Psalm 77:11

“O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.”Psalm 130:7

My body and mind may fail, but God is my strength and my portion forever.”Psalm 73:26

And sometimes

He has something far better than a thing we were hanging onto… ✨

So Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to the scribe Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated, Baruch wrote on it all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.”Jeremiah 36:32

Thank You, Father. How You comfort me. 💝 You restore. You redeem. You remember. YOU ARE GREATER THAN! And I believe with all of my heart, that the things of this life that are meaningful to You, that are meaningful to me, will be safely kept… in eternity.

And we know, that HIS Word is established for eternity…

“Heaven and earth [as now known] will pass away, but My words will not pass away.” Matthew 24:35
