He knows what we need to be able to thrive…

So I’m sitting here,

trying to figure out

how

I can communicate what is on my heart this morning.

Here goes…

Have you ever felt as though

something in your life

is lying somewhat “dormant”?

Like the “pause” button has been hit

on that area of your life?

Something that was once “growing out of control”…

and now that thing has gone into a kind of

“dormancy”…

Things have changed.

Things are different in this season you’ve found yourself in.

“Father, what’s going on in my heart? And what is the desire of Your heart, regarding this thing in my life that seems to be lying dormant right now?”

But we must remember…

“first things first” 💖

I’m learning, within my own life, that there are seasons when God desires to deal with some deeper things

“beneath the surface”

within the “ground of our hearts”

first

…and He does it so that we can produce GREATER fruit in that area of our lives.

Sometimes it’s like He says,

“…wait just a minute… we need to deal with this thing in your heart first…it’s because I love you, and I have good things in My heart for your life, and I want you to grow in a healthy way, I want you to produce good, abundant fruit in this area of your life that will bring glory to My name….”

Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”—Isaiah 43:7

I’m drawn to Hosea 10:12 where He says,

“break up your fallow ground”

“Let’s deal with the heart. Let’s deal with the deeper things that are NEEDED in your heart, so that you can flourish and grow and produce GOOD fruit!”

We can trust Him, even in the seasons that feel “dormant”…

In the seasons that feel quiet,

or uncomfortably different

Because when we trust Him,

and we seek Him in these seasons

and we open up our hearts before Him

to do the work that is needed…

He will surprise us with a season of new growth 🌱💗

He will increase our capacity…

and we’ll begin to see

an abundance of good fruitfulness within our lives. 🍏

He knows the process we need to go through.

He’s a good Father. 💝

He knows the lessons we each need to learn.

So let us “awaken”… let us seek His face!

Let us allow Him to do

the work that is needed

in the deepest places of our hearts.

So then, prepare your hearts and minds for action! Stay alert and fix your hope firmly on the marvelous grace that is coming to you. For when Jesus Christ is unveiled, a greater measure of grace will be released to you. As God’s obedient children, never again shape your lives by the desires that you followed when you didn’t know better. Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called you.”—1 Peter 1:13-15 TPT

“Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand.“—Romans 13:11-14

Thank You, Father. 💝 You know what we need to truly THRIVE! We invite You in, to do the work to prepare our hearts—our lives—for an abundant season of fruitfulness and well-established growth. 🌳🍏

“They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.”—Psalm 1:3
