No coffee for me this morning… ☕️ 😩

…heading in for some fasting bloodwork labs in a bit.

But the Lord put this passage of scripture on my heart to meditate on and to share this morning…

Well, I actually didn’t know what “Romans 8:13” was going to be, off the top of my head, but this is what it says…

“…for if you are living in accord with the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” —Romans 8:13 NASB

“For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste his abundant life.”—Romans 8:13 TPT

“So don’t you see that we don’t owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent. There’s nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!“—Romans 8:13-14 MSG

I hear You, Lord! Thank You for leading us by Your Spirit. You draw us, You call us…and You save us from a “life” of “death”… by leading us into Your light of LIFE—a life of ABUNDANT life!

Thank You, Lord. ☀️
